Q. How many years is the Alimah course?
A. 5 years
Q. Does the Sanatayn course start every year?
A. No, due to restrictions of space, the Sanatayn course starts every two years
Q. At what age can my daughter start the Alimah/Sanatayn course?
A. We recommend that your daughter is in year 7 at least to start Alimah course and year 8 for Sanatayn, however this can be flexible depending on certain factors
Q. My daughter is 3, can she start madrassah?
A. No, we can only take on learners from the age of 4
Q. What level should my daughter be at to be considered for Alimah/Sanatayn?
A. Learners must have finished the recitation of the entire Quran before they can join the Alimah or Sanatayn courses and should also be able to write in Arabic
Q. Do you teach Urdu?
A. Yes, Urdu is taught in the Maktab classes from class 4 until class 9. We do not teach the Alimah or Sanatayn classes Urdu, these courses are taught in Arabic and English
Q. Do you admit boys?
A. No, we are a girls-only Madrasah and all our staff are female
Q. Are you a part of BMGS?
A. No, we are managed by Bolton Muslim Welfare Trust who are the proprietors of BMGS, we are not a part of BMGS, we just rent the premises
Q. Who teaches Arabic?
A. We have a native Arab as the Arabic teacher, who teaches from the youngest classes
Q. What time does Madrasah start and finish?
A. Madrasah starts at 4.30pm for all classes and finishes at 6.30pm for the Maktab and Sanatayn classes and 7.00pm for Alimah classes years 1 – 4 and at 7.25pm for Alimah year 5
